WordPress allows you to upload, store and display a wide variety of media files. You can either attach a file directly to a page/post or upload it directly to the Media Library.

Attached

1. Login to your WordPress admin panel
2. Go to Page/Posts and edit a page/post
3. Click the Add Media button above the post editor
4. Upload your media file:
   1. drag it directly into the Media Library tab
   2. click the Upload Files tab and click the Select Files button
5. You can now insert your media file into your page/post

Unattached

1. Login to your WordPress admin panel
2. Go to Media → Add new
3. Drag your media files directly into the Drop files here area
4. You can now add your uploaded media files to your pages/posts
